Gillian Epp
Gillian completed her Masters in Music at the University of Toronto in 2002, where she studied with Shauna Rolston. She has participated in many master classes with solo cellists as well as with chamber groups including Tsuyoshi Tsutsumi, Zara Nelsova, the Gryphon Trio and the St. Lawrence Quartet. Since graduating from the U of T she has also taken numerous Suzuki teacher training courses. As an accomplished cellist, Gillian has enthusiastically taught beginners through to advanced students and has a strong commitment to them all. Gillian is a creative, insightful educator with a love of children and an appreciation for the character development which music instills.

Gillian also acts as the Director of Music for Con Brio Music.

Alastair Crosby
Alastair  completed his degree in cello performance at the University of Victoria in 2008 where he studied with Pamela Highbaugh-Aloni and Paula Kiffner.  HE has also played in master classes for numerous musicians including Charles Castleman, John Katz, and Desmond Hoebig.  Alastair has been teaching cello for six years and enjoys working with students of all ages and abilities.  As a teacher, his goal is to share his passion for music and the cello with his students, and he believes that practicing ought to be a fun and enriching experience, for nothing is more fun than playing the cello well.  As a musician, Alastair most enjoys writing new pieces and making music with others, and he encourages his students to do the same in order to broaden their musical experience beyond the practice room.
